Oresund
Live vessel traffic through the Oresund: how many ships are in the lane now, what kind they are, and a timelapse of the last few hours.
The Oresund, written Øresund in Danish and Swedish, is the easternmost of the three Danish straits into the Baltic, between the island of Zealand and the Swedish province of Scania. It narrows to about two nautical miles between Helsingør and Helsingborg, and at its southern end a bridge and tunnel carry road and rail between Copenhagen and Malmö. Its shipping channels are shallow, so the most deeply laden ships bound for the Baltic take the Great Belt instead.
